1st - 5th Grade Jr Gladiator Football

Junior Gladiator fields three youth tackle football teams (3rd, 4th, and 5th). The 3rd-grade team includes 1st through 3rd graders. Youth teams play as part of the Cobb Football League.

Our primary goal is to help our players build essential skills such as teamwork, coordination, discipline, and sportsmanship—all while instilling a love for the game.

To ensure their safety, we use age-appropriate techniques and equipment. At this stage, the physicality of the game is limited, and the emphasis is placed on learning proper form, tackling, passing, and other basic skills. We work closely with certified coaches who have been trained in child development and football safety, and we adhere to all recommended safety guidelines set by youth football organizations.

We also place a strong emphasis on monitoring player health and well-being. Practices and games are structured to be fun and engaging, with a clear focus on safety. Rest assured, we take all necessary precautions to ensure that the experience is as safe as possible for every player, from proper warm-ups to equipment checks.

It's important to remember that playing football at this age is not about taking risks; it's about skill-building, developing self-confidence, and enjoying physical activity in a safe, structured environment. We truly believe that football can be a wonderful tool for helping children grow, both physically and mentally, in a way that encourages lifelong fitness and personal development.
